Karen has more than 30 years of experience and education in human services, training and human resources. She started up and directed two non-profit organizations. She served as human resources director for a non-profit organization with 135 employees and earned a Professional in Human Resources certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. She holds a master’s degree in education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Pamela DeShazo - Business Developer and Placement Specialist

Pamela brings 15 years of business development, sales consulting, and human resource experience -- including 10 years of staffing for Personal Communication Services, to help businesses and professionals reach their desired goals. She is the owner of Successful Events, an event planning company. Pamela is a graduate of Elon College, where she received BA in Journalism.

Mark Sproul - Learning Program Specialist and Curriculum Developer

Mark has worked in retail his entire career, starting out on the shop floor selling appliances, televisions, and audio systems after high school graduation. He moved into management, where he found his niche in training others. He was the training manager for a company with 6,000 employees and helped that company achieve an ISO 9002 accreditation. He has written a selling skills workbook. Mark is a British citizen, married to an American, and relocated to North Carolina in July 2006.
